Bagian Kita & Bagian Tuhan

Suatu kali, di Taiwan ada seorang konglomerat dan pengusaha kaya. Hebatnya, kekayaan itu menurut banyak pihak diperoleh benar-benar dari nol. Karena itu, apa yang dilakukannya mampu menginspirasi banyak orang.

Suatu ketika, karena penasaran, ada seorang pemuda ingin belajar menimba pengalaman dari sang pengusaha. Setelah mencoba beberapa kali, akhirnya sang pemuda berhasil menemui si pengusaha sukses.

“Terimakasih Bapak mau menerima saya. Terus terang saya sangat ingin menimba pengalaman dari Bapak sehingga bisa sukses seperti Bapak,” ujar pemuda itu.

Mendengar permintaan itu, sang pengusaha tersenyum sejenak. Kemudian, ia pun meminta anak muda tadi menengadahkan tangannya. Si pemuda pun terheran-heran. Namun, lantas si pengusahapun menjelaskan maksudnya.

“Biar aku lihat garis tanganmu. Dan, simaklah baik-baik apa pendapatku tentangmu sebelum aku memberikan pelajaran seperti yang kamu minta,” jawab pengusaha tersebut. Setelah menengadahkan kedua tangannya, si pengusaha pun berkata, “Lihatlah telapak tanganmu ini. Di sini ada beberapa garis utama yang menentukan nasib. Di sana ada garis kehidupan. Kemudian, di sini ada garis rezeki dan ada pula garis jodoh. Sekarang, menggenggamlah. Di mana semua garis tadi?”

“Di dalam telapak tangan yang saya genggam.” Jawab si pemuda yang penasaran.

“Nah, apa artinya itu? Hal itu mengandung arti, bahwa apapun takdir dan keadaanmu kelak, semua itu ada dalam genggamanmu sendiri. Kamu lihat bukan? Bahwa semua garis tadi ada di tanganmu. Dan, begitulah rahasia suksesku selama ini. Aku berjuang dan berusaha dengan berbagai cara untuk menentukan nasibku sendiri,” terang si pengusaha. “Tetapi coba lihat pula genggamanmu. Bukankah masih ada garis yang tidak ikut tergenggam? Sisa garis itulah yang berada di luar kendalimu. Karena di sanalah letak kekuatan Sang Maha Pencipta yang kita tidak akan mampu lakukan dan itulah bagianNya Tuhan.

Genggam dan lakukan bagianmu dengan kerja keras dan sungguh, dan bawalah kepada Tuhan bagian yang tidak mampu engkau lakukan!

Purim

“karena pada hari-hari itulah orang Yahudi mendapat keamanan terhadap musuhnya dan dalam bulan itulah dukacita mereka berubah menjadi sukacita dan hari perkabungan menjadi hari gembira, dan supaya menjadikan hari-hari itu hari perjamuan dan sukacita dan hari untuk antar-mengantar makanan dan untuk bersedekah kepada orang-orang miskin” ( Ester 9 : 22 )

Purim itu menjadi hari ‘pembalikan keadaan’. Kematian jadi kehidupan, dukacita jadi sukacita, ratapan jadi tawa dan tarian.Namun ada satu hal yang tidak boleh dilupakan, Purim juga jadi hari “BERSEDEKAH kepada orang-orang miskin”. Rupanya, melayani orang miskin, merupakan semacam “meterai” pengesahan akan semuanya. Kerasulan Pauluspun disahkan oleh “meterai” yang sama.

Dan setelah melihat kasih karunia yang dianugrahkan kepadaku, maka Yakobus, Kefas dan Yohanes, yang dipandang sebagai sokoguru jemaat, berjabat tangan dengan aku dan dengan Barnabas sebagai tanda persekutuan, supaya kami pergi kepada orang-orang yang tidak bersunat dan mereka kepada orang-orang yang bersunat; hanya kami harus tetap mengingat orang-orang miskin dan memang itulah yang sungguh-sungguh kuusahakan melakukannya.

( Galatia 2 : 9 - 10 )

Pay It Forward

Saat terlintas keraguan apakah mungkin perbuatan baik yang kecil dan sederhana yang kita lakukan kepada orang lain akan mampu mempengaruhi kehidupan mereka, mungkin Film "PAY IT FORWARD" bisa menjadi pendorong yang memberikan kita semangat untuk selalu tidak jemu-jemu berbuat baik kepada orang lain.

Kisahnya bercerita tentang seorang anak umur delapan tahun bernama Trevor yang berpikir jika dia melakukan kebaikan kepada tiga orang disekitarnya, lalu jika ke tiga orang tersebut meneruskan kebaikan yang mereka terima itu dengan melakukan kepada tiga orang lainnya dan begitu seterusnya, maka dia yakin bahwa suatu saat nanti dunia ini akan dipenuhi oleh orang-orang yang saling mengasihi. Dia menamakan ide tersebut: "PAY IT FORWARD"

Singkat cerita, Trevor memutuskan bahwa tiga orang yang akan menjadi bahan eksperimen adalah mamanya sendiri (yang menjadi single parent), seorang pemuda gembel yang selalu dilihatnya dipinggir jalan dan seorang teman sekelas yang selalu diganggu oleh sekelompok anak-anak nakal.

Percobaanpun dimulai :
Trevor melihat bahwa mamanya yang sangat kesepian, tidak punya teman untuk berbagi rasa, telah menjadi pecandu minuman keras. Trevor berusaha menghentikan kecanduan mamanya dengan cara rajin mengosongkan isi botol minuman keras yang ada dirumah mereka, dia juga mengatur rencana supaya mamanya bisa berkencan dengan guru sekolah Trevor. Sang mama yang melihat perhatian si anak yang begitu besar menjadi terharu, saat sang mama mengucapkan terima kasih, Trevor berpesan kepada mamanya "PAY IT FORWARD, MOM"

Sang mama yang terkesan dengan yang dilakukan Trevor, terdorong untuk meneruskan kebaikan yang telah diterimanya itu dengan pergi ke rumah ibunya (nenek si Trevor), hubungan mereka telah rusak selama bertahun-tahun dan mereka tidak pernah bertegur sapa, kehadiran sang putri untuk meminta maaf dan memperbaiki hubungan diantara mereka membuat nenek Trevor begitu terharu, saat nenek Trevor mengucapkan terima kasih, si anak berpesan :"PAY IT FORWARD,MOM"

Sang nenek yang begitu bahagia karena putrinya mau memaafkan dan menerima dirinya kembali, meneruskan kebaikan tersebut dengan menolong seorang pemuda yang sedang ketakutan karena dikejar segerombolan orang untuk bersembunyi di mobil si nenek, ketika para pengejarnya sudah pergi, si pemuda mengucapkan terima kasih, si nenek berpesan : "PAY IT FORWARD, SON".

Si pemuda yang terkesan dengan kebaikan si nenek, terdorong meneruskan kebaikan tersebut dengan memberikan nomor antriannya di rumah sakit kepada seorang gadis kecil yang sakit parah untuk lebih dulu mendapatkan perawatan, ayah si gadis kecil begitu berterima kasih kepada si pemuda ini, si pemuda berpesan kepada ayah si gadis kecil : "PAY IT FORWARD, SIR"

Ayah si gadis kecil yang terkesan dengan kebaikan si pemuda, terdorong meneruskan kebaikan tersebut dengan memberikan mobilnya kepada seorang wartawan TV yang mobilnya terkena kecelakaan pada saat sedang meliput suatu acara, saat si wartawan berterima kasih, ayah si gadis berpesan:"PAY IT FORWARD"

Sang wartawan yang begitu terkesan terhadap kebaikan ayah si gadis, bertekad untuk mencari tau dari mana asal muasalnya istilah "PAY IT FORWARD" tersebut, jiwa kewartawanannya mengajak dia untuk menelusuri mundur untuk mencari informasi mulai dari ayah si gadis, pemuda yang memberi antrian nomor rumah sakit, nenek yang memberikan tempat persembunyian, putri si nenek yang mengampuni, sampai kepada si Trevor yang mempunyai ide tersebut.

Terkesan dengan apa yang dilakukan oleh Trevor, Si wartawan mengatur agar Trevor bisa tampil di Televisi supaya banyak orang yang tergugah dengan apa yang telah dilakukan oleh anak kecil ini. Saat kesempatan untuk tampil di Televisi terlaksana, Trevor mengajak semua pemirsa yang sedang melihat acara tersebut untuk BERSEDIA MEMULAI DARI DIRI MEREKA SENDIRI UNTUK MELAKUKAN KEBAIKAN KEPADA ORANG-ORANG DISEKITAR MEREKA agar dunia ini menjadi dunia yang penuh kasih.

Namun umur Trevor sangat singkat, dia ditusuk pisau saat akan menolong teman sekolahnya yang selalu diganggu oleh para berandalan, selesai penguburan Trevor, betapa terkejutnya sang Mama melihat ribuan orang tidak henti-hentinya datang dan berkumpul di halaman rumahnya sambil meletakkan bunga dan menyalakan lilin tanda ikut berduka cita terhadap kematian Trevor. Trevor sendiripun sampai akhir hayatnya tidak pernah menyadari dampak yang diberikan kepada banyak orang hanya dengan melakukan kebaikan penuh kasih kepada orang lain.

Mungkinkah saat kita terkagum-kagum menikmati kebaikan Tuhan di dalam hidup kita, dan kita bertanya-tanya kepada Tuhan bagaimana cara untuk mengungkapkan rasa terima kasih kepadaNya, jawaban Tuhan hanya sesederhana ini: "PAY IT FORWARD to OTHERS around YOU.

Mengasihi Di Saat Yang Tepat

Robertson MC Quilkin mengundurkan diri dari kedudukannya sebagai Rektor di Universitas Internasional Columbia dengan alasan ingin merawat istrinya, Muriel, yang sakit Alzheimer, yaitu gangguan fungsi otak.

Muriel sudah seperti bayi, tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa, bahkan untuk makan, mandi dan buang air pun ia harus dibantu. Robertson memutuskan untuk merawat istrinya dengan tangannya sendiri, karena Muriel adalah wanita yang sangat istimewa baginya.

Namun pernah suatu kali ketika Robertson membersihkan lantai bekas ompol Muriel dan di luar kesadaran Muriel malah menyerakkan air seninya sendiri, maka Robertson tiba-tiba kehilangan kendali emosinya. Ia menepis tangan Muriel dan memukul betisnya, guna menghentikannya.

Setelah itu Robertson menyesal dan berkata dalam hatinya, "Apa gunanya saya memukulnya, walaupun tidak keras, tetapi itu cukup mengejutkannya. Selama 44 tahun kami menikah, saya belum pernah memukulnya karena marah, namun kini di saat ia sangat membutuhkan saya, saya memperlakukannya demikian. Ampuni saya, ya Tuhan,"

Lalu tanpa peduli apakah Muriel mengerti atau tidak, Robertson meminta maaf atas hal yang telah dilakukannya.

Pada tanggal 14 Februari 1995, Robertson dan Muriel, memasuki hari istimewa karena pada tanggal itu di tahun 1948, Robertson melamar Muriel. Dan pada hari istimewa itu Robertson memandikan Muriel, lalu menyiapkan makan malam dengan menu kesukaan Muriel dan pada malam harinya menjelang tidur ia mencium dan menggenggam tangan Muriel lalu berdoa, "Tuhan Yesus yang baik, Engkau mengasihi Muriel lebih dari aku mengasihinya, karena itu jagalah kekasih hatiku ini sepanjang malam dan biarlah ia mendengar nyanyian malaikat-Mu. Amin!"

Pagi harinya, ketika Robetson berolah-raga dengan menggunakan sepeda statisnya, Muriel terbangun dari tidurnya. Ia berusaha untuk mengambil posisi yang nyaman, kemudian melempar senyum manis kepada Robertson. Untuk pertama kalinya setelah selama berbulan-bulan Muriel yang tidak pernah berbicara memanggil Robertson dengan suara yang lembut dan bening, "Sayangku.... sayangku...", Robertson melompat dari sepedanya dan segera memeluk wanita yang sangat dikasihinya itu.

"Sayangku, kau benar-benar mencintaiku bukan?" tanya Muriel.

Setelah melihat anggukan dan senyum di wajah Robetson, Muriel berbisik, "Aku bahagia!" Dan ternyata itulah kata-kata terakhir yang diucapkan Muriel kepada Robertson.

Memelihara dan membahagiakan orang-orang yang sudah memberi arti dalam hidup kita adalah suatu ibadah di hadapan Tuhan. Mengurus suami atau istri yang sudah tak berdaya adalah suatu perbuatan yang mulia. Mengurus ayah, ibu atau mertua adalah tugas seorang anak ataupun menantu. Mengurus kakek atau nenek yang sudah renta dan pikun juga adalah tanggung jawab para cucu. Jangan abaikan mereka yang telah renta, apalagi ketika mereka sudah tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa lagi. Peliharalah mereka dengan kesabaran dan penuh kasih.

Yusuf-Yusuf Akhir Jaman Part II

"Walaupun pemanah-pemanah telah mengusiknya, memanahnya dan menyerbunya,"
( Kejadian 49 : 23 )

Dalam terjemahan lain disebutkan bahwa mereka pemanah-pemanah kepahitan. Ternyata orang yang suka memanah orang lain adalah orang yang dalamnya menyimpan kepahitan. Itu yang dilontarkan dengan tajam ke arah orang lain.

Memang panggilan dan berkat Yusuf mengundang iri dan dengki dari orang lain. Bahkan dari saudara sendiri. Itulah sebabnya mereka bahkan ingin membunuh dan menyingkirkannya. Jika sekumpulan orang yang tak mengalami kemajuan dan pertumbuhan apapun berkumpul, mereka takkan tahan jika bertemu dengan seseorang yang sedang dan terus naik. Tanpa sadar itu memahitkan hati mereka. Lalu panah-panah kepahitan yang ditembakkan.

Jika kita punya panggilan Yusuf, biasakan diri dengan panah-panah seperti itu tanpa membiarkan kita terluka dan jadi pahit seperti mereka. Ingatlah kekuasaan dan kemuliaan yang dibumbui kepahitan akan menghasilkan kekejaman, jadi… jangan pahit…

Yusuf-Yusuf Akhir Jaman Part 1

“Yusuf adalah seperti pohon buah-buahan yang muda, pohon buah-buahan yang muda pada mata air. Dahan-dahannya naik mengatasi tembok.”
( Kejadian 49 : 22 )


Inilah ciri Yusuf-Yusuf akhir jaman :
Dahan-dahannya naik mengatasi atau melewati tembok.

Semua kita tahu bahwa jika kita memiliki pohon buah-buahan dan dahannya ada yang menjorok ke halaman tetangga, maka buah-buah yang tergantung pada dahan yang menjorok itu adalah milik tetangga tersebut. Kalau menjoroknya ke arah jalan umum, maka siapapun yang melintas boleh dan berhak mengambilnya.

Yusuf akhir jaman haruslah orang yang punya hati memberi, murah hati dan rela hati. Yusuf akhir jaman bukanlah seorang yang egois dan tidak peduli orang lain. Dia sadar kekayaan yang dimilikinya sesungguhnya milik Tuannya, sehingga ketika seluruh dunia datang pada kita, akan kita persembahkan bagi Tuhan.
Apakah Saudara murah hati ? Apakah ada dahanmu yang terjulur keluar melintasi tembok egomu? Mintalah hati seperti Yusuf. Amin

Takut Akan Tuhan

Dalam Kitab Mazmur 147 : 11, Daud memberi kita pemahaman tentang dua hal yang menyenangkan hati TUHAN – dua hal yang sepertinya tidak berhubungan satu sama lain.


“ TUHAN senang kepada orang-orang yang takut akan DIA,

Kepada orang-orang yang berharap akan kasih setia-NYA.”




Pertama, TUHAN senang kepada orang-orang yang takut akan DIA, orang-orang yang memiliki kekaguman dan hormat akan DIA, kedua, TUHAN berkenan dengan mereka yang berharap akan Kasih Setia-NYA.


Dalam perenungan kita hari ini, saya ingin berfokus pada arti dari takut akan TUHAN.


Firman TUHAN secara tetap mengarahkan kita untuk takut akan TUHAN, tapi bagaimana kita melakukannya? Saya percaya Alkitab memberi kita setidaknya empat cara :


1. Melalui hidup dalam perintah-perintah-NYA. Kitab Pengkhotbah katakan ” ... karena ini adalah kewajiban semua orang.”


2. Melalui ketaatan yang dalam. Untuk takut akan TUHAN berarti mentaati DIA secara mendalam, seperti yang Abraham lakukan dalam Kitab Kejadian 22 saat dia rela mempersembahkan putranya.


3. Dengan kesadaran bahwa TUHAN selalu melihat kita. Firman TUHAN membuat hal ini menjadi sangat jelas bahwa tidak ada tempat kemana kita dapat pergi yang TUHAN tidak dapat melihatnya.


4. Dengan pengetahuan bahwa suatu hari setiap kita harus berdiri dihadapan TUHAN sebagai Hakim kita.

Yesus bahkan berkata kepada kita bahwa suatu hari, saat kita berdiri dihadapan-NYA, kita harus mempertanggung jawabkan setiap perkataan sia-sia yang kita ucapkan di bumi.

Berdoalah hari ini supaya TUHAN membantu kita hidup dengan empat prinsip tersebut, karena TUHAN berkenan kepada orang-orang yang takut akan DIA.

Kekecewaan

Kekecewaan adalah seperti jalan yang bergelombang,


Ia akan menghambat langkah kita tetapi janganlah tinggal diam di atasnya.


Setiap manusia di dunia pasti pernah mengalami kekecewaan,

beberapa di antaranya mampu bersikap positif dan tidak membiarkan hidup mereka dirusak oleh rasa kecewa itu,

tetapi beberapa yang lain lebih memilih untuk tinggal di dalam kekecewaan dan membiarkan rasa kecewa itu melukai semakin dalam dan melumpuhkan semua kemampuan mereka.

Kita tidak bisa menghindari kekecewaan,

Cepat atau lambat ia pasti datang,

Entah melalui teman kita,

Pemimpin,

Keluarga,

Kekasih,

Maupun melalui orang yang tidak kita kenal.

Tetapi,

Jangan pernah memutuskan untuk tinggal di dalam kekecewaan.

”Jika engkau tawar hati pada masa kesesakan, kecillah kekuatanmu.”

Kegagalan

Menghadapi kegagalan memang menyebalkan, gimana engga. kita baru saja mulai bermimpi indah untuk mencapai kesuksesan, eh tiba-tiba semuanya lenyap.

Perasaan sedih dan kecewa kadang membuat kita merasa sepertinya dunia runtuh, Tapi apa iya sampai segitu?

Memang, kadang-kadang terasa berat untuk kita hadapi. Entah itu kegagalan dalam sekolah, keluarga, pekerjaan mau pun dalam urusan asmara. Kita perlu melihat persoalan ini dengan pikiran yang jernih sebab kalau di pikir ulang kegagalan itu merupakan hal yang biasa, yang mana setiap orang pasti pernah mengalaminya. Jadi kita bukanlah satu-satunya orang yang mengalaminya, yang membedakan hanyalah bagaimana cara kita memandang kegagalan tersebut.



Kita tidak selalu mengerti mengapa kegagalan itu harus kita alami. Tetapi Allah tahu mengapa kegagalan itu perlu. Allah mempunyai rencana untuk membantu kita mengatasi setiap kesulitan dan kegagalan. Tidak ada kegagalan yang tidak berarti dalam kehidupan orang percaya. Sebab melalui kegagalan-kegagalan itu, Allah mengajarkan kita untuk berjalan denganNya meraih keberhasilan yang lebih besar lagi.



Kegagalan merupakan salah satu jalan untuk menunjukkan betapa lemahnya kemampuan kita. Kegagalan memaksa kita untuk mengevaluasi kembali arah hidup kita. Kita dapat memilih untuk terus berputus asa dengan memusatkan perhatian kita pada masalah-masalah yang kita hadapi sekarang atau kita dapat memilih untuk tetap berharap dan memiliki iman serta percaya akan rencana Tuhan dalam kehidupan kita.



Kegagalan seringkali digunakan Allah sebagai alat agar maksud Allah dalam hidup kita dapat terpenuhi. Kita tidak akan pernah mengenal kasih setia Tuhan kalau kita tidak pernah belajar menantikan perlindungan dan penghiburanNya. Melalui kegagalan Allah ingin kita berjalan dengan iman, bukan dengan apa yang kita lihat atau rasakan. Kegagalan hanyalah salah satu cara yang Allah gunakan untuk menuntun kita menuju kemenangan.


Ingat, kehidupan kristen adalah sebuah proses. Kita belajar dan berkembang melalui kesulitan hidup. Karena itu pandang terus pada Jesus, dekatkan diri pada Allah melalui doa dan penyembahan. Praktekkan FirmanNya, Ia akan menuntun kita melewati masa -masa sulit.



Jelaskan, kegagalan kita hanyalah setitik kegagalan, asli cuma setitik.



Selama kita memiliki Jesus dalam hidup kita, harapan selalu ada.


Amsal 24: 16 berkata," Sebab tujuh kali orang benar jatuh, namun ia bangkit kembali. Tetapi orang fasik akan roboh dalam bencana ". Sebab itu bangkit kembali untuk memulai lagi bersama Allah, kenakanlah iman dan kesabaran sehingga kita dapat mencapai keberhasilan.

Pengharapan

Kitab Zakharia 9:2, "Juga Hamat yang berbatas kepadanya, pula Tirus dan Sidon, sekalipun mereka sangat bijaksana.", berbicara tentang tawanan yang penuh harapan atau tawanan dari pengharapan. Tawanan seperti ini akan mendapat berkat ganda. Itulah yang Tuhan janjikan. Mengapa? Sebab mereka yang membiarkan dirinya ditawan pengharapan, akan menjadi orang yang terus menatap ke depan dan tidak mudah menyerah. Orang yang dibungkus dengan pengharapan akan selalu hidup dalam kegairahan yang ajaib.


Bagaimana pun pengharapan adalah iman yang mekar begitu kuat untuk meraih semua kenyataan dari janji-Nya. Jangan biarkan ketakutan, kekhawatiran, duka, patah semangat, frustasi dan pikiran negatif membelenggu dan menawan kita. Biarkan pengharapan membungkus dan menawan kita, maka Tuhan memberi berkat ganda dalam hidup kita, Amin.

Berkenan kepada TUHAN

Dalam Yohanes, pasal 8, Yesus membuat sebuah pernyataan yang saya selalu harap saya dapat melakukannya.


Dia berkata, “Aku senantiasa berbuat apa yang berkenan kepada Bapa.”




Paulus mengarahkan kita kepada hal itu dalam 2 Korintus 5 : 6 – 9


”Maka oleh karena itu hati kami senantiasa tabah, meskipun kami sadar, bahwa selama kami mendiami tubuh ini, kami masih jauh dari TUHAN, - sebab hidup kami ini adalah hidup karena percaya, bukan karena melihat – tetapi hati kami tabah, dan terlebih suka kami beralih dari tubuh ini untuk menetap pada TUHAN. Sebab itu juga kami berusaha, baik kami diam di dalam tubuh ini, maupun kami diam diluarnya, supaya kami berkenan kepada-NYA.”




Entah apakah kita masih di dalam tubuh duniawi ini atau kita berdiri dihadapan TUHAN di Sorga, dia berkata, ”Kami menentukan sasaran kami adalah untuk Berkenan Kepada-NYA.”




Tapi apakah Anda tahu ? Anda tidak dapat membidik sasaran yang tidak dapat Anda lihat. Anda tidak dapat menjadikan Berkenan Kepada-NYA menjadi sasaran Anda jika Anda tidak tahu apa yang Berkenan Kepada-NYA. Dan ini adalah untuk keuntungan Anda sendiri untuk menemukannya.




Seperti Paulus tunjukkan dalam ayat 10, ”Sebab kita semua harus menghadap tahta pengadilan Kristus, supaya setiap orang memperoleh apa yang patut diterimanya, sesuai dengan yang dilakukannya dalam hidupnya ini, baik ataupun jahat.”




Jadi ijinkan saya bertanya kepada Anda, apakah sasaran Anda hari ini ?

Pesan Kasih

dan yang paling besar di antaranya adalah Kasih
1 Korintus 13 : 13



Saya tertarik dengan hidup Catherine Lawes. Ia memberikan diri untuk melayani narapidana di penjara Sing Sing. Sekalipun setiap orang mengingatkan dia untuk tidak menginjakkan kaki di penjara, apalagi melayani mereka, Catherine tetap pada panggilannya. Ia begitu tekun mengajarkan huruf braille kepada salah seorang Napi yang kena kasus pembunuhan. Ia mengajari bahasa isyarat kepada napi yang cacat pendengaran. Selama enam belas tahun Catherine Lewis melembutkan hati para Napi yang keras dan kasar.


Satu hari Catherine tidak terlihat di penjara, mereka langsung merasa ada yang kurang pada hari itu. Merekapun terkejut ketika mendengar kalau Catherine meninggal karena kecelakaan. Mereka langsung berlari di depan pintu gerbang utama. Setiap tahanan berdesakan di pagar, ingin lebih dekat dengan jenazah Catherine yang berada 1 kilometer dari penjara. Mereka diam seribu bahasa dan mata mereka basah oleh air mata. Melihat hal itu, Sipir penjara melakukan hal yang luar biasa, memberikan waktu untuk mereka melayat ke rumah duka, tanpa pengawasan dan pengawalan. Tapi yang lebih luar biasa lagi, setelah mereka memberikan penghormatan kepada Catherine, mereka semuanya kembali !!!.

Hanya kasih sejatilah yang bisa mengubah seseorang.



Seseorang dengan temperamen sekeras apapun bisa dilembutkan oleh kasih. Seseorang yang jahat sekalipun bisa diubahkan menjadi baik karena kasih. Seseorang yang Luka bisa disembuhkan karena kasih. Seseorang yang menolak diri sendiri bisa menerima keberadaan dirinya karena kasih. Seseorang yang kehilangan semangat bisa memiliki pengharapan karena seseorang yang dengan penuh kasih memberikan tepukan di pundaknya!

Itu sebabnya Tuhan menempatkan kasih lebih penting dari segala-galanya, bahkan lebih penting dari karunia sehebat apapun, lebih penting dari talenta sedahsyat apapun juga. Firman Tuhan menulis tentang Iman, Pengharapan dan kasih. lalu di bagian terakhir dikatakan, yang paling besar diantaranya adalah kasih!!! Apakah kita sudah hidup di dalam kasih ???


Apakah ada kasih yang hari ini kita bagikan kepada orang orang yang kita jumpai ??? sesungguhnya tidak ada yang lebih berarti dalam hidup ini selain membagikan kasih!


Hanya kasih sejatilah yang bisa mengubah kehidupan seseorang.


Mungkin dalam hidup kita, kita sering disakiti atau diperlakukan orang dengan semena2, entah dalam pekerjaan/Cinta/Keluarga/Hidup/Tempat Ibadah kita, tapi jangan biarkan dendam ada di hati kita, Apa bedanya kita dengan mereka bila kita melakukan hal yang sama. jadi Biarkan kasih kita yang akan melembutkan mereka...............GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS....

Pengampunan

Anda mungkin sedang berada di persimpangan jalan hidupmu.

Mungkin banyak persoalan yang harus Anda hadapi,

Orang-orang yang perlu diampuni.

Anda bisa memilih salah satu jalan ini.

Mengabaikan apa yang Anda tahu bahwa itu memang benar,

Lalu mengubur semua kepahitan itu di dalam hidupmu,

Menekannya sedalam mungkin dan membiarkan racun itu mencemarkan Anda dan orang-orang disekitarmu.

Atau Anda bisa memilih untuk membuang semua kepahitan itu sambil memohon kepada TUHAN agar DIA membantu Anda untuk mengampuni secara total dan membiarkannya berlalu.

Sabarlah kamu seorang terhadap yang lain, dan ampunilah seorang akan yang lain apabila yang seorang menaruh dendam terhadap yang lain, sama seperti TUHAN telah mengampuni kamu, kamu perbuat jugalah demikian. ( Kolose 3 : 13 )

Jangan Bebal

Kebebalan itu mengerikan sekali. Orang bebal itu sulit diberitahu dan tidak mudah mau berubah walau salah. Orang yang bebal punya kebenaran diri sendiri. Semua dipandang dari sudut dirinya sendiri. Mengerikan sekali bukan? Memasuki tahun 2009 ini, jangan hidup dalam kebebalan. Miliki hati yang mudah diajar dan dibentuk. Bahkan pengalaman keberhasilan di tahun sebelumnya tidak bisa kita andalkan. Sebab ada jalan-jalan baru yang Tuhan mau ajarkan, yang sama sekali tak terbaca musuh. Kebebalan membuat kita tak akan mau dengar apapun yang ilahi. Kebebalan membuat kita hanya mau dengar yang ingin kita dengar. Di titik itulah Tuhan pasti bertindak karena kasih-Nya. Lalu didikan-Nya berlaku dalam hidup kita. Itulah sebabnya Firman Tuhan berkata: kadangkala butuh pengalaman yang menyakitkan untuk bisa mengubah cara dan jalan hidup kita.

God Knows Just What We Need

A woman was at work when she received a phone call that her daughter was very sick with a fever. She left her work and stopped by the pharmacy to get some medication for her daughter.


Upon returning to her car she found that she had locked her keys in the car. She was in a hurry to get home to her sick daughter. She didn't know what to do, so she called her home and told the baby sitter what had happened and that she did not know what to do.


The baby sitter told her that her daughter was getting worse. She said, "You might find a coat hanger and use that to open the door." The woman looked around and found an old rusty coat hanger that had been thrown down on the ground, possibly by someone else who at some time or other had locked their keys in their car. Then she looked at the hanger and said, "I don't know how to use this." So she bowed her head and asked God to send her some help.


Within five minutes an old rusty car pulled up, with a dirty, greasy, bearded man who was wearing an old biker skull rag on his head. The woman thought, "This is what you sent to help me?" But, she was desperate, so she was also very thankful.


The man got out of his car and asked her if he could help. She said, "Yes, my daughter is very sick. I stopped to get her some medication and I locked my keys in my car. I must get home to her. Please, can you use this hanger to unlock my car?"


He said, "Sure". He walked over to the car, and in less than one minute the car was opened.


She hugged the man and through her tears she said, "Thank You So Much! You are a very nice man."


The man replied, "Lady, I am not a nice man. I just got out of prison yesterday. I was in prison for car theft and have only been out less than 24 hours."


The woman hugged the man again and with sobbing tears cried out loud, "Oh, Thank you God! You even sent me a Professional! "


God may not always send us what we expect, but He will always send us what we need. It's up to us to have the wisdom to recognize the difference and be thankful.

 Bayangkan bila kita pada saat berdoa kita mendengar jawaban ini:

Atau, bagaimana jika Allah memohon maaf seperti ini:
"Saat ini semua malaikat sedang membantu yang lain. Tetaplah menunggu, Panggilan Anda akan dijawab sesuai urutannya."


Atau bisa juga Anda mendengar ini:
"Komputer kami menunjukkan bahwa Anda telah satu kali menelepon hari ini, silahkan mencoba kembali esok hari."

Namun, puji Tuhan, Allah mengasihi kita, kita dapat menelponnya setiap saat! kita hanya perlu memanggil sekali dan Dia mendengar kita, karena Yesus, kita tak akan pernah mendengar nada sibuk. Tuhan menerima panggilan dan tahu siapa pemanggilnya secara pribadi. Ketika kita memanggil, Tuhan menjawab; kita menangis minta tolong dan Dia akan berkata: "Ini Aku" (Yesaya 58:9)

Pelukan Kasih Tuhan

Ada seorang pengembara yang sangat ingin melihat pemandangan yang ada di balik suatu gunung yang amat tinggi. Maka disiapkanlah segala peralatannya dan berangkatlah ia. Karena begitu beratnya medan yang harus dia tempuh, segala perbekalan dan perlengkapannya pun habis. Akan tetapi, karena begitu besar keinginannya untuk melihat pemandangan yang ada di balik gunung itu, ia terus melanjutkan perjalannya. Sampai suatu ketika, ia menjumpai semak belukar yang sangat lebat dan penuh duri. Tidak ada jalan lain selain ia harus melewati semak belukar itu.



Pikir pengembara itu "Wah, jika aku harus melewati semak ini, maka kulitku pasti akan robek dan penuh luka. Tapi aku harus melanjutkan perjal anan ini." Maka pengembara itupun mengambil ancang-ancang dan ia menerobos semak itu. Ajaib, pengembara itu tidak mengalami luka goresan sedikitpun. Dengan penuh sukacita, ia kemudian melanjutkan perjalanan dan berkata dalam hati "Betapa hebatnya aku. Semak belukarpun tak mampu menghalangi aku."


Selama hampir 1 jam lamanya ia berjalan, tampaklah di hadapannya kerikil-kerikil tajam berserakan. Dan tak ada jalan lain selain dia harus melewati jalan itu. Pikir pengembara itu untuk kedua kalinya "Jika aku melewati kerikil ini, kakiku pasti akan berdarah dan terluka. Tapi aku tetap harus melewatinya." Maka dengan segenap tekadnya, pengembara itu berjalan. Ajaib, ia tak mengalami luka tusukkan kerikil itu sedikitpun dan tampak kakinya dalam keadaan baik-baik saja. Sekali lagi ia berkata dalam hati : "Betapa hebatnya aku. Kerikil tajampun tak mampu menghalangi jalanku."



Pengembara itupun kembali melanjutkan perjalanannya. Saat hampir sampai di puncak gunung itu, ia kembali menjumpai rintangan. Batu-batu besar dan licin menghalangi jalannya, dan tak ada jalan lain selain dia harus melewatinya. Pikir pengembara itu untuk yang ketiga kalinya : "Jika aku harus mendaki batu-batu ini, aku pasti akan tergelincir dan tangan serta kakiku akan patah. Tapi aku ingin sampai di puncak itu. Aku harus melewatinya." Maka pengembara itupun mulai mendaki batu itu dan ia...tergelincir. Aneh, setelah bangkit, pengembara itu tidak merasakan sakit di tubuhnya dan tak ada satupun tulangnya yang patah. "Betapa hebatnya aku. Batu-batu terjal inipun tidak dapat menghalangi jalanku."



Maka, iapun melanjutkan perjalanan dan sampailah ia di puncak gunung itu. Betapa sukacitanya ia melihat pemandangan yang sungguh indah dan tak pernah ia melihat yang seindah ini. Akan tetapi, saat pengembara itu membalikkan badannya, tampaklah di hadapannya sosok manusia yang penuh luka sedang duduk memandanginya. Tubuhnya penuh luka goresan dan kakinya penuh luka tusukan dan darah. Ia tak dapat menggerakkan seluruh tubuhnya karena patah dan remuk tulangnya.



Berkatalah pengembara itu dengan penuh iba pada sosok penuh luka itu : "Mengapa tubuhmu penuh luka seperti itu? Apakah karena segala rintangan yang ada tadi? Tidak bisakah engkau sehebat aku karena aku bisa melewatinya tanpa luka sedikitpun? Siapakah engkau sebenarnya?"



Jawab sosok penuh luka itu dengan tatapan penuh kasih : "Aku adalah Tuhanmu. Betapa hatiKu tak mampu menolak untuk menyertaimu dalam perjalanan ini, mengingat betapa inginnya engkau melihat keindahan ini. Ketahuilah, saat engkau harus melewati semak belukar itu, Aku memelukmu erat supaya tak satupun duri merobek kulitmu. Saat kau harus melewati kerikil tajam, maka Aku menggendongmu supaya kakimu tidak tertusuk. Ketika kau memanjat batu licin dan terjatuh, Aku menopangmu dari bawah agar tak satupun tulangmu patah. Ingatkah engkau kembali padaKU?"

Pengembara itupun terduduk dan menangis tersedu-sedu.

Untuk kedua kalinya, Tuhan harus menumpahkan darahNya untuk suatu kebahagiaan.

Kadang, kita lupa bahwa Tuhan selalu menyertai & melindungi kita.

Kita lebih mudah ingat betapa hebatnya diri kita yang mampu melampaui segala rintangan tanpa menyadari bahwa Tuhan bekerja di sana. Dan sekali lagi, Tuhan harus berkorban untuk keselamatan kita. Maka, seperti Tuhan yang tak mampu menolak untuk menyertai anakNya, dapatkah kita juga tak mampu menolak segala kasihNya dalam perjalanan hidup kita dan membiarkan tanganNya bekerja dalam hidup kita?

Stand Up for Jesus

Ini adalah kisah nyata yang terjadi beberapa tahun lalu di USC. ( University of Southern California ).

Disana ada seorang profesor filosofi yang mengaku ateis. Tujuan utamanya selama kelas semester adalah berusaha membuktikan bahwa Tuhan itu tidak ada. Para mahasiswanya selalu takut untuk berargumentasi dengan dia karena logikanya yang sangat masuk akal. Telah 20 tahun berselang ia mengajar kelasnya dan tidak seorang pun berani menentangnya.

Beberapa mahasiswa memang pernah mencoba, tapi tidak seorangpun berhasil karena reputasinya. Diakhir setiap semester, pada hari terakhir, dia selalu berkata dihadapan 300 orang mahasiswanya, "Bila ada yang masih percaya pada Yesus, silahkan berdiri!" Selama duapuluh tahun, tidak seorang pun yang berani berdiri.

Mahasiswanya sudah tahu apa yang akan dilakukan profesor tsb selanjutnya. Ia akan berkata, "Siapapun yang percaya pada Tuhan adalah seorang yang tolol. Bila Tuhan memang ada, Ia mampu memberhentikan kapur ini jatuh mengenai lantai dan tidak pecah. Contoh sederhana untuk membuktikan bahwa Dia adalah Tuhan, dan memang Ia tidak dapat melakukannya." Dan setiap tahun, profesor tersebut menjatuhkan kapur ke lantai dan kapur itu pecah menjadi ratusan potongan. Semua mahasiswanya tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa selain diam dan menyaksikannya. Kebanyakan mahasiswanya terlalu takut untuk berdiri.

Beberapa tahun kemudian seorang mahasiswa muda mendaftarkan diri pada kelas profesor tsb. Ia adalah seorang Kristen dan sudah mendengar cerita tentang bakal Profesornya. Ia wajib mengikuti kelas profesor tersebut dan dia merasa gentar menghadapinya. Untuk 3 bulan semesternya, ia berdoa setiap pagi supaya ia dimampukan untuk berdiri, apapun yang akan dikatakan Profesor dan yang dipikirkan oleh rekan-rekannya. Tidak ada yang dapat melemahkan imannya, ia hanya berharap. Akhirnya hari terakhir itu tiba.

Profesor tersebut berkata, "Bila ada diantara anda yang masih percaya pada Tuhan, silahkan berdiri." Profesor dan 300 orang mahasiswanya terkejut melihat seorang mahasiswa muda yang berdiri dibagian belakang kelas. Profesor tersebut berteriak, "Anda bodoh !!! Bila Tuhan benar-benar ada Ia akan mampu mencegah kapur ini pecah saat menyentuh lantai!" Ia bersiap melepaskan kapur yang dipegangnya. Tapi saat ia melepaskannya, kapur tersebut terlepas dari jarinya dan masuk ke lengan bajunya, meluncur terus ke celananya melewati kakinya hingga ke sepatunya. Saat menyentuh lantai kapur tersebut tidak pecah. Kesombongan profesor luluh saat ia melihat kapur tersebut. Ia menatap mahasiswa muda tadi dan segera lari dari ruangan kuliah. Mahasiswa yang berdiri tadi, berjalan ke depan kelas dan berbagi iman tentang Yesus selama 30 menit. Tigaratus mahasiswa bertahan dan mendengarkan saat ia menceritakan kasih Tuhan untuk mereka dan Kuasanya melalui Yesus.

A Beautiful Story

Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts. This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, as well as pouring down rain. The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said: "OK dad, I'm ready."

His Pastor dad asked, "Ready for what?"
"Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together and go out."
Dad responds, "Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring down rain."
The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking "But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?"
Dad answers, "Son, I am not going out in this weather."
Despondently, the boy asks, "Dad, can I go, please?"

His father hesitated for a moment then said, "Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son."
"Thanks Dad!" And with that, he was off and out into the rain.


This eleven year old boy walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody he met in the street a Gospel Tract. After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wet and down to his very last tract. He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to, but the streets were totally deserted. Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell. He rang the bell, but nobody answered.



He rang it again and again, but still no one answered. He waited but still no answer. Finally, this eleven-year-old trooper turned to leave, but something stopped him. Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something holding him there on the front porch. He rang again, and this time the door slowly opened.


Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady.



She softly asked "What can I do for you son?"


With radiant eyes and a smile that lit up her world, this little boy said, "Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbed you, but I just want to tell you that Jesus really does love you, and I came to give you my very last Gospel Tract which will tell you all about Jesus and His great love."


With that, he handed her his last tract, and turned to leave.


She called to him as he departed. "Thank you, son! And God Bless You!"

Well, the following Sunday morning in church Pastor Dad was in the pulpit. As the service began, he asked, "Does anybody have a testimony or want
to say anything?"


Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet.


As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from her face, "No one in this church knows me. I've never been here before. You see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband passed on some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world. Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more so in my heart that I came to the end of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live.



So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home. I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof, then stood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted I was about to leap off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairs startled me.



I thought, I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away. "I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly. I thought to myself again, 'Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me.' I loosened the rope from my neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder. When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life. His smile, oh, I could never describe it to you!


And the words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had long been dead, to leap to life, as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice, "Ma'am, I just came to tell you that Jesus really does love you."


Then he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand. As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and listened to every word of this Gospel Tract. Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be needing them any more.


You see, "I am now a Happy Child of God and since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel Tract, I have come here to personally say Thank You to God's little angel who came just in the nick of time and, by so doing, spared my soul from eternity in hell.



There was not a dry eye in the church.



And as shouts of praise and honor to God resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little angel was seated. He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably.


Probably no church has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has never seen a Papa that was more filled with love & honor for his son...
Except for One.


This Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold and dark world. He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as all of heaven shouted praises and honor to the King, the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and every name that is named. Karena pentingnya memperkatakan Firman Tuhan dalam hidup kita, maka di tahun 2011 ini akan dipostingkan Firman Tuhan setiap minggunya untuk diperkatakan setiap hari sepanjang minggu tersebut.

Janganlah engkau lupa memperkatakan kitab Taurat ini, tetapi renungkanlah itu siang dan malam, supaya engkau bertindak hati-hati sesuai dengan segala yang tertulis di dalamnya, sebab dengan demikian perjalananmu akan berhasil dan engkau akan beruntung. (Yos 1:8)

7 Kiat Bekerja Menurut Raja Salomo 

1. Andalkan Tuhan
Amsal 3:5-6 berkata, "Percayalah kepada Tuhan dengan segenap hatimu, dan janganlah bersandar kepada pengertianmu sendiri. Akuilah Dia dalam segala lakumu, maka Ia akan meluruskan jalanmu."
Sertakan Tuhan di dalam segenap pekerjaanmu karena banyak yang harus kita kerjakan tetapi tidak diajarkan di bangku sekolah dan banyak yang terjadi yang tidak pernah kita duga sebelumnya.


2. Carilah Pengetahuan
Ilmu pengetahuan, cara bekerja yang benar & efisien perlu kita cari.
Amsal 19:2 berkata, "Tanpa pengetahuan, kerajinanpun tidak baik; orang yang tergesa-gesa akan salah langkah".
Jangan sungkan belajar dan meminta petunjuk jika tidak mengerti.
Amsal 19:20 berkata,"Dengarkanlah nasihat dan terimalah didikan, supaya engkau menjadi bijak di masa depan."

3. Rajin dan Cekatan
Hanya orang rajin dan cekatan yang akan diingat oleh pimpinannya, terutama waktu menetapkan promosi jabatan & kenaikan gaji.
Amsal 10:4 berkata, "Tangan yang lamban membuat miskin, tetapi tangan orang rajin menjadikan kaya".
Dan Amsal 14:23 berkata, "Dalam tiap jerih payah ada keuntungan, tetapi kata-kata belaka mendatangkan kekurangan saja."

4. Berlakulah Jujur dan Benar
Amsal 16:8 berkata,"Lebih baik penghasilan sedikit disertai kebenaran, daripada penghasilan banyak tanpa keadilan".
Dan Amsal 10:9 berkata,"Siapa bersih kelakuannya, aman jalannya, tetapi siapa berliku-liku jalannya, akan diketahui ".
Renungkan juga Amsal 10:16,"Upah pekerjaan orang benar membawa kepada kehidupan, penghasilan orang fasik membawa kepada dosa."

5. Jaga Mulut
Mengerjakan tugas-tugas adalah suatu pekerjaan yang berat, jangan ditambahi lagi dengan masalah lain karena mulut kita yang bocor.
Amsal 21:23 berkata, "Siapa yang memelihara mulut dan lidahnya, memelihara diri daripada kesukaran".
Dan Amsal 10:19 berkata, "Di dalam banyak bicara pasti ada pelanggaran, tetapi siapa yang menahan bibirnya, berakal budi."

6. Sabar dan Tenang
Amsal 16:32 berkata,"Orang yang sabar melebihi seorang pahlawan, orang yang menguasai dirinya, melebihi orang merebut kota".
Dan Amsal 14:30 menambahkan, "Hati yang tenang menyegarkan tubuh, tetapi iri hati membusukkan tulang."

7. Jangan Ingin Cepat Kaya
Menjadi kaya adalah impian kebanyakan orang dan sah-sah saja.
Yang harus diperhatikan adalah :
· Menjadi kaya, bukanlah tujuan utama di dalam hidup ini;
· Ingin cepat kaya seringkali menjebak orang-orang ke dalam perbuatan yang berdosa;
· Menikmati hidup lebih penting dari menjadi kaya tetapi mempunyai banyak masalah.
Renungkanlah Amsal 10:22,"Berkat Tuhan-lah yang menjadikan kaya, susah payah tidak akan menambahinya."
Dan Amsal 13:11,"Harta yang cepat diperoleh akan berkurang, tetapi siapa mengumpulkan sedikit demi sedikit, menjadi kaya."

Letter From Heaven

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: "How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?"

The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it."

Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?"

The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university."

Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to her son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair.

"Would you like a lock of his hair?" the nurse asked.

Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom."

She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could."

Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car. The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room. She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep. It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Laying beside her on the bed was a folded letter.



The letter said:
"Dear Mom,

I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say "I Love You". I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again.



Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with.



But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know.



Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything.



The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter.



I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him?'



"God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.


Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either.

That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery!
How about that?

Tongkat Ester

Tongkat Esther

Sepanjang Minggu ini kita dihimbau untuk memperkatakan Tongkat yang didapat ketika acara penutupan tahun 2008, pada tanggal 26 dan 27 Desember 2008. Tongkat tersebut dibagikan dalam bentuk gantungan kunci yang bertuliskan nama-nama tongkat, dengan keterangan singkat dibawahnya. Ada 21 macam tongkat yang dibagikan pada saat itu, seingat saya ada Tongkat Elia, Tongkat Elisa, Tongkat Musa, Tongkat Yosua, Tongkat Paulus, Tongkat Otoritas, Tongkat Penerobos, Tongkat Pemimpin, Tongkat Esther, Tongkat Kemuliaan, Tongkat Perjanjian dll.



Bukan suatu kebetulan saya mendapatkan Tongkat Esther, dengan keterangan dibawahnya "Kutuk Jadi Berkat". Hanya sesimpel itu keterangannya, namun saya penasaran apa lagi yang bisa saya perkatakan selain 3 kata tersebut. Saya teringat my Pastor pernah mengkotbahkan tentang Esther hingga berminggu-minggu. Segera saya cari catatan kotbah saya dan puji Tuhan saya temukan. Bagaimana Esther bisa memikat hati Sang Raja ? Ada beberapa hal :
Tidak membuat pesta sendiri ketika Tuhan sedang berpesta. Miliki kesukaan yang sama dengan Raja. Ratu Wasti dibuang dikarenakan membuat pesta sendiri ketika Raja sedang berpesta. Sang sulung pada perjanjian baru juga diam-diam memiliki keinginan berpesta sendiri (Luk 15:28,29). Mari kita ikut pestanya Tuhan.
Teachable Spirit / Roh yang mudah diajar. Esther memiliki roh yang mau diajar (Est 2:10,20) sehingga ia mendapat kemurahan dari Hegai, sida-sida Raja. (Est 2:9). Roh yang sama dimiliki oleh Yesus, sehingga ia makin dikasihi oleh Tuhan dan manusia. "Lalu Ia pulang bersama-sama mereka ke Nazaret; dan Ia tetap hidup dalam asuhan mereka. Dan ibu-Nya menyimpan semua perkara itu di dalam hatinya. Dan Yesus makin bertambah besar dan bertambah hikmat-Nya dan besar-Nya, dan makin dikasihi oleh Allah dan manusia." (Luk 2:51,52)
Didetok menggunakan mur untuk mengeluarkan racun. Tradisi pada zaman Esther setiap gadis yang akan dipilih untuk menjadi Ratu, harus melewati proses detok selama 6 bulan menggunakan mur untuk mengeluarkan racun dan bau-bau badan yang tidak sedap. Setelah itu direndam dengan campuran parfum selama 6 bulan. Jadi selama 1 tahun para gadis tersebut dikarantina (Est 2:12). Saya tidak bisa bayangkan seperti apa jadinya gadis-gadis tersebut, mungkin bau keringatnya menjadi harum. Kesombongan, dosa dan kedagingan kita sangat bau di hadapan Tuhan. Karena itu kita perlu didetok oleh Tuhan untuk mengeluarkan racun-racun.
If it pleases the King. Jika Anda perhatikan di Alkitab, Esther tiap kali berkata ke Raja selalu diawali dengan kalimat "If it pleases the King". Hal ini juga yang dilakukannya pada saat ia mendapat giliran masuk menghadap Raja, ia menuruti anjuran Hegai, yang tahu apa yang menjadi kesukaan Raja. Biar sikap hati ini ada dalam hidup kita, "IF IT PLEASES THE KING".
Menghadapkan musuhnya ke Tuhan. Pada awalnya saya kurang mengerti mengapa Esther mengajak Haman yang adalah musuhnya ke perjamuan Raja. Ternyata itulah caranya ketika kita menghadapi musuh-musuh kita, hadapkan ke Tuhan. Apapun pergumulan kita, jangan fokus ke masalah, tapi fokus ke Tuhan. Hal itu juga ada pada mazmur 23, Engkau menyediakan hidangan bagiku di hadapan lawanku.



Saya berusaha membuat beberapa kalimat yang bisa kita perkatakan sepanjang minggu ini sehingga berkat tongkat Esther ini bisa menjadi daging. "Kutuk menjadi BERKAT".

"Aku mendapatkan berkat Tongkat Esther, kutuk menjadi BERKAT. Aku tidak membuat pesta sendiri, tapi aku berpesta bersama dengan Tuhan Yesus karena aku memiliki kesukaan yang sama dengan Tuhan Yesus. Aku memiliki Teachable Spirit yaitu roh yang mau diajar, sehingga aku mendapatkan kebajikan, kemurahan dan kasih dari Tuhan dan manusia. Aku didetok dengan mur yang dari Tuhan untuk mengeluarkan racun di dalam tubuh dan jiwaku. Dan aku direndam di dalam keharuman pengenalan akan Tuhan. Aku memiliki sikap hati "IF IT PLEASES THE KING" sehingga setiap keputusan yang aku ambil menyenangkan hati Tuhan dan aku bergaul dengan Roh Kudus dan menuruti dorongan Roh Kudus. Aku hadapkan semua permasalahan hidupku ke Tuhan. Aku mengarahkan fokus ke Tuhan yang lebih besar dari masalahku. Amin"

God's Life For You

Four Steps to God

1. God Loves You!

The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"

The problem is that...


2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says "The wages of sin is death."

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,


3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. "God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us."

Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

4. If you want to accept Christ as your Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

The Key of David

Revelation about the Lord's spiritual communications - How God struck David's "key" and awoke him from the System's slumber to lead his children of the End-Time!

PROPHECY: "THE KEY OF DAVID IS THAT CHORD WHICH I STRIKE UPON THY HARP to awaken thee from slumber -- that signals thee to come to life to help My Children in the time of their great distress. The Key that I strike upon thy harp -- the chord which I strike upon thy strings, is the tone that signals thee -- the Key of David (Revelation 3:7)!"

I SEE A PICTURE OF DAVID ASLEEP, entombed as it were in the System1! Above his head hangs the harp of the Spirit of God that plays the music to which his soul responds. "Upon which I the Lord thy God strike the chord which draws instant response from thy heart and brings thee instantly alive -- the tone signal that activates thee and brings thee to life to serve thy people. O David, thou hast been too long entombed. O Moses, thou hast wandered in the wilderness too long with My Children! Too long thou hast kept David buried, entombed in the System and the old ideas! But I have awakened thee through the Key of David, and thou hast awakened and led My Children -- My People -- to freedom!
1 System: The Establishment; what the Bible calls "The world" (See 1John 2:15,16)

FOR THOU INDEED HAST LITTLE STRENGTH, but I Myself have strengthened thee, and by My Spirit have brought thee to life, that thou may minister of the strength which the Lord supplieth. As thy days, so shall thy strength be, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of man. (Deuteronomy 33:25b, 2 Corinthians 4:7) For thou art a very thin, earthen vessel that has been shattered that it may be melted and molded again into a better vessel!" (Jeremiah 18:4) (My Mother used to preach so much about the Potter breaking the whole vessel and making it a new and a better vessel! And I think it must have been predictive, even if she didn't realise it and I didn't understand it at the time. The Lord Brings this back so clearly again -- all those pictures from the Word! It's the most amazing thing how God puts it all together, and you don't even understand it until He shows you!) "Thou hast been brought back from the land of the dead!" (The picture here is of being awakened from the systems of this world which are dead in the Spirit!)

IT'S LIKE THE LORD PLAYS A CHORD IN THE SPIRIT made of many different notes which together form a key, as in music. In music you have a certain key, meaning that in that key the tones blend together and make a harmonious sound, called a chord. -- But it's not just a mere sound of the Lord, but like these electronic mechanisms that are tone activated -- like the new push button telephones that are tone activated by certain keys -- each button is a certain note in that key, and as you push each button on the push button telephone, it gives a different sound -- a different note -- a different tone signal.

BUT YOU ARE NOT MERELY PLAYING A TUNE FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT or amusement, but which together form a combination of sounds or tone signals which strike a chord in a certain key, which perfectly fits a telephone instrument even a great distance away, which is tuned to that particular key -- that key composed of a chord of tones, which, when played together in proper sequence, unlocks the door to that instrument's particular circuit, and that instrument only -- no other instrument! No other instrument has that same key or is tuned to respond to that same key -- only that one particular instrument. -- And only when that sequence of tones -- that key of its music, is played to that particular instrument -- only then does that instrument come to life, as these tones flip a series of relays, like switches, which complete a circuit that brings life to that instrument and rings its bell.

THESE TONES ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THEY EVEN MAKE PRETTY TUNES -- but they're not played for mere entertainment or just to be enjoyed for their music, but to bring about life and action, and to accomplish a certain task, such as in the case of the telephone -- the activation of a complete communications circuit, which can then bear a message to the party being called, and which in turn can bring a certain response in the words and actions of that party, completing and accomplishing the total performance of the communications system! It's just like the Lord playing a series of tone signals in His Spirit, and it activated the mechanism of my spirit to bring me to life in the Spirit -- to bring me into action!

GOD HAS TO ILLUSTRATE THESE SPIRITUAL THINGS WITH NATURAL, PHYSICAL ILLUSTRATIONS! Otherwise we couldn't grasp them! -- They'd be beyond our comprehension!

IT'S JUST LIKE TWO AND TWO MAKE FOUR. The various parts of a mathematical equation equal a certain result or answer. The objective of the equation is to produce a desired result or effect. So the objective of this tone series -- this chord, or key of musical sound, is to produce a desired result in the activation of the instrument being brought to life electronically.

THE TELETYPE MACHINES WORK ON THE SAME PRINCIPLE. They can even be wirelessly tuned to radio signals. A certain chord is played -- a specific sequence of pre-selected tone signals in a certain key or frequency -- a key which unlocks the door to that distant machine and instantly activates its life. And you hear it suddenly begin to hum. Its motor begins to run and it trembles with the vibration of expectancy, awaiting eagerly the message it knows is coming, and for which it was brought to life -- the purpose for which it was created as a means of communication! (Tongues and interpretation:)

"IF THOU DIDST BUT KNOW THE TONES THAT I HAVE TO PLAY FOR THEE, thou wouldst never doubt that thou art My David, that I am thy God!"

THE INSTRUMENT ITSELF HAS NO WILL OF ITS OWN. It is merely yielded -- totally yielded to the pre-set responses of its circuitry designed by the hand of its creator selected and tuned by him to respond at his will. It has no energy of its own, unless it is activated by the power selected by its creator. It cannot pick its own tune or select its own music at its own whim or fancy, but must respond exactly and accurately only to the tones, and that sequence of tones which form the chord on that certain frequency for which its creator designed it, so it can be activated at his will, to perform whatever service the creator desires! -- Determined not by the instrument, but by the creator, at a time selected not by the instrument, but by its creator, designer and operator, to perform his will, and to accomplish the task for which it was made!

EVEN YOUR SIMPLE LITTLE TRANSISTOR RADIO or the more complicated telephone set, work much on these same principles, designed for pre-selected frequency responses by its creator, when operated properly by the various operators which control these frequencies, both at the broadcasting station and you at the receiver. The broadcasting station operates with tremendous power on a certain frequency -- sometimes on several frequencies. But you, the operator of the receiver, need not have much power or wisdom yourself, but only the simplest of skill to know how to turn on your own little individual power source, make contact with your own tiny battery -- your own spirit -- just a tiny little mini-volt of power or fraction thereof -- just enough to activate your own circuit, and then only enough skill to tune in to the powerful frequency of the broadcasting station to receive sounds dropped out of the sky! -- Tune in, turn on, and receive His dropouts -- or rather, turn on whatever little power or strength of the Spirit that you have that He's already charged your tiny battery with -- your own spirit -- so that your circuits might be activated to receive His powerful signals as you tune in to His messages dropped out of the Heavens! Praise the Lord! Thank You Jesus!

THE HAND OF FAITH TURNS THE KNOB WHICH MAKES THE CONTACT and throws the switch which turns on what little power you have. The hand of hope tunes with expectancy feeling for the frequency upon which God is broadcasting, and suddenly His great broadcasting station booms in with tremendous positive volume and power and certainty -- and the messages come through loud and clear! Hallelujah!

BUT IF YOU'RE NOT SKILLFUL TO TUNE IN YOUR FINE TUNING and absolutely zero in at the dead centre, or rather live centre, of God's perfect frequency-with tremendous concentration and without distraction -- if you allow any other signals to pull you off course or distort with static, God's message may become faint, distorted, interrupted, unclear, or even totally jammed by the static and power of the Enemy! Be sure your battery is well-charged by His power, fresh and renewed -- that your contact is good and clean and firm -- that you're tuning in attentively, accurately, with patient determination, waiting even in silence, if need be, while you wait for God's signal! If you wait with faith and patience, without distraction, and with the utmost concentration, sooner or later you'll receive some of the most beautiful music you've ever heard, and some of the most powerful, thrilling, and amazing messages that will really stir you to action! You'll dance to His tunes, and battle according to His signals -- His directions -- and you'll know you're fulfilling His will -- the purpose for which you were created, regardless of the consequences!

BOTH MY EYES AND EARS ARE EXTREMELY SENSITIVE IN THE SPIRIT. It is as though the Lord keys up your senses to an extremely high level of sensitivity where you can hear better and see better -- just like He sort of tunes you in, God turns on more power. Your eyes, ears, and spirit become more sensitive!

SOMETIMES THE LORD HAS EVEN MADE MY SENSE OF SMELL MUCH KEENER. It is like He flips a switch to a higher frequency that you are not normally sensitive to. He keys it up -- like tuning it up!

BEING SENSITIVE IN THE SPIRIT HAS PROBLEMS. If you just want local stations, it is better not to have a highly sensitive receiver, because that brings in the outside stations and brings confusion sometimes. Whereas if you want distant stations, you have a problem, because it makes the local stations so terribly loud, and they just blast you. That's why when you're in the Spirit and very sensitive to the Spirit, you just have to almost plumb flip out completely into another channel, or otherwise the local, nearby frequencies nearly blast the daylights out of you, they have such powerful vibrations!

YOU CANNOT BE TUNED IN ON TWO STATIONS AT THE SAME TIME The Devil is just like another station trying to butt in and cover up, He tries to jam the circuit, to jam the frequency, so that you can't hear God's station. He deliberately tries to come right in on God's frequency and jam God's station with his false signals and false impulses!

THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN! Everything man ever invented is nothing but a cheap imitation, a poor plastic counterfeit, or a simple illustration of the realities of the Spirit. But nevertheless, the Lord allows these inventions even -- these discoveries of man -- they're not inventions -- man didn't create them -- they're merely a number of discoveries that a man puts together, that God has already created and revealed to him by His Spirit. It is like God owns the safe, but He gives man the combination whereby if he'll put these numbers together by the hand of faith, he can unlock the treasures that the Lord has already stored there. He has to play a certain chord in a certain key on the tumblers of the lock to the Lord's safe, in order to cause it to open to reveal the riches within.

BUT MAN DID NOT MAKE THE SAFE, and he certainly did not make the treasures therein. And he didn't even figure out the lock that the Lord created! In fact, he didn't even guess at the numbers -- God gave them to him!

HOWEVER, EVEN IF HE DOESN'T KNOW THE COMBINATION, AN EXPERT SAFE-CRACKER CAN PLACE HIS EAR AGAINST THE LOCK and by listening quietly and keenly, can literally feel for the combination as he hears the tumblers fall in place at each turn of the dial! He literally tunes in the combination, playing it by ear!

THE SCIENTISTS THINK THEY ARE THE ONES DISCOVERING THESE WONDERS! But God by His Spirit is revealing these things to the scientist as an illustration of the realities of the spirit world. All of these things which unlock the material, natural treasures of this world for man's use -- God gives the key to them! He owns the material, and He has the key, and all He does is reveal them to man! -- But they think they're thinking it up themselves or discovering it themselves, when all they did was receive a revelation from the Lord -- the Spirit of God. There is nothing new under the sun. Everything is of the Lord, and there is nothing hid which shall not be revealed!

IT'S LIKE A FLOW. It's like the flow of electric current. If you're short-circuiting it, the current ceases! -- Like it goes back where it came from. We're all keyed to certain vibrations, just like you who have studied physics know that all energy has various vibrations -- various frequencies -- various waves. Sound vibrations, one of the slowest, are only about 1100 feet (335 meters) to the second, or about five counts to the mile (1.6 kilometers) . But energy has various other vibrations going up through all the various radio frequencies, with the highest and fastest of all, which is light, whose frequencies travel with a speed of over 186,000 miles (297,600 kilometers) per second! Which is why you can figure almost exactly the distance that a storm and its lightning are away from you, by starting to count the seconds slowly from the time you see the lightning until the time you hear the thunder. The lightning you see almost instantly with that tremendous speed of light, but the sound of the thunderclap, which actually occurred at the same time, you don't hear until much later, the sound travelling to you at the slow speed of about five seconds to the mile. Try it sometime, and you'll see what I mean! If you're afraid of thunder storms, it'll help comfort you to know exactly how far away it is, as it has often reassured me! Remember that a second is approximately a heartbeat, so if you're counting in time and in tune with your heart, you can gauge almost your exact distance from the last lightning bolt. It'll only be so many heartbeats away, at about 1100 feet (335 meters) to the heartbeat, or about five heartbeats to the mile. Of course, if you hear the thunder clap at exactly the same instant that you see the lightning, you won't have to worry about it at all! You will have gone to be with Jesus, in an instant, in a twinkling of an eye -- at the sound of that big trump of thunder -- and you won't have to wait for the last one, 'cause you're on the spot where the lightning struck! Hallelujah!

YOU SEE, EVERYTHING HAS FREQUENCIES WHICH RUN IN WAVES, LIKE THE SEA, with various vibrations. You have to get in tune with it in order to receive it. Your eyes are video receivers which are tuned to certain light frequencies, which you can see with them. But there are a lot of light frequencies which you cannot see with your eye because God did not tune your eyes to those frequencies: very high ultraviolet, or the very low infrared, which you were not made to see, but which cameras, lenses and tubes, tuned to those frequencies and sensitive to the vibrations of those particular rays of light can see, even what you would call the dark, such as what is known as black light, or a form of ultra-violet rays. These on the one hand, and the warm light of the infra-red rays on the other, are used for various scientific purposes, and various kinds of detection impossible to the human eye, including cameras which can take pictures of burglars in the dark, and a certain kind of radar which can detect the approaching enemy, even in complete darkness if properly tuned in, or keyed to the right frequency!

NEARLY ALL OF THESE NATURAL THINGS WHICH THE LORD HAS CREATED ARE VISIBLE ILLUSTRATIONS of the unseen spiritual realities of the spirit world to help us to try to understand it and grasp its truth, so we can know God better and love Him more -- and also to warn us of the Enemy and his evil devices which try to jam and short-circuit our circuits and even burn out our spiritual and mental and physical mechanisms, so they'll be rendered useless! Which is why He says that we're not to be conformed to this world or wired according to the printed circuits of the Devil's System -- after the Enemy's patterns -- so that we respond only to the Enemy and his vibrations, so that we are keyed to react only to his impulses to do his damnable works -- But we are to be completely transformed -- rewired by the renewing of our minds to an entirely new circuit pattern with different responses keyed to different reactions entirely -- a completely new mechanism -- a new creature in Christ Jesus -- old things passed away, all things become new! (Romans 12:2a, 2 Corinthians 5:17) It only takes one blast of the mighty searing power of the Holy Ghost to completely burn out all the Devil's old circuits in a mighty infilling of God's Spirit -- God's great electrical power!

THEN BEGINS THE TRANSFORMING -- the creation of totally new circuits -- responses -- reactions -- by the tender loving hands of the Holy Spirit, following the circuit patternry or schematic of His Word -- God's blueprint for a totally new kind of machine, completely rewired for His constructive purposes instead of the destructive purposes of the Enemy, then keyed to respond to His particular signal for us -- tuned to react to His personal call for us by name, for the special job that He has for each of us to do!

ARE YOU TURNED ON TO HIS POWER, TUNED IN TO HIS FREQUENCY, AND OPERATING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL? You are, if you are keyed to His design, and you'll accomplish the purpose for which He made you!

I TOO, WAS KEYED FOR A CERTAIN PURPOSE -- a certain mission in life -- to fit a pattern and meet the specifications of the Great Designer -- keyed for my particular place and calling in the intricate mechanism of this great universe. Now no sound is without signification, and every sound has its place; but if the trumpet make an uncertain sound, who shall know to go forth to the battle? It must be properly keyed, tuned, and stimulated to give the right sequence of sounds on the right tone levels in accurate frequency in order that the warrior may respond to its notes and its calls-whether to attack or retreat, advance to the right or the left, or halt! And the soldiers must recognise these sounds, be familiar with them, keyed to react to them instantly and without question, in order to be a good soldier and obey His Master's Will, and please Him that hath called him to be a soldier. He must not allow his spiritual hearing to become so encumbered with other sounds, the noise and confusion of battle, that he cannot detect the clear piercing notes of God's Trumpeting Voice, keyed to his frequency in a sequence he understands!

SO HE MUST LISTEN WITH HIS SPIRIT, AND COMMUNICATE WITH HIS UNDERSTANDING also, and he must keep the channel of communication open -- a faithful monitor of God's frequencies ready to enter into his log what the Lord has to say by His Spirit, so he may know clearly how to follow His directions! His receiver must be conditioned and keyed to open to His frequencies, so that his set is activated when God turns on that particular key that produces his tone signals and opens his relays to set him in motion!

BUT YOU MUST BE KEYED BY THE LORD, turned on and in tune with Him, so He can drop out your particular set of signals that turns your key -- the Key that He holds in His Hand, that He alone knows -- the secret name God knows, whose tones set you in motion! He holds your key! Are you ready for Him to turn it on? Is your spiritual receiver turned on to a position of fulltime monitoring, even on standby, so that when He uses your Key, it will really turn you on, so He can blast away even if it causes you to explode like a radio-detonated bomb?

HE HAD MY KEY -- THE KEY OF DAVID -- and when He finally turned it on, I began to explode -- and you've been hearing the repercussions of it ever since -- a series of powerful chain reactions which will echo round the globe through you!

I WAS KEYED FOR IT! I COULD DO NO OTHER! When He turned my Key I opened up with His power, with His volume, on His frequency! -- And you now see the scorching results, as with every other fiery prophet He has ever used! We have blasted the System, we have destroyed its lies, we have exposed their idols and begun smashing them to bits, like Jeremiah, rooting them out and casting them down, that we may plant the true seed of His Word, to build the true temple of His Children! Hallelujah

BY THE FIFTIES I HAD REACHED MIDDLE AGE, I had a family, had worked in almost every kind of job from building construction to the District Attorney's Office, had been in the Army, been discharged as totally disabled due to heart trouble, been an evangelist, pastor, and was teaching school. I felt I was passing my prime and had not yet found God's perfect Will for my life -- and I became desperate for greater power, more gifts, and greater usefulness to Him! I was seeking Him desperately, with strong crying and tears, falling flat on my face before Him in abject desperation, crying out for Him to speak! I turned on, tuned in, and He began to turn the Key!

THE FIRST THING HE TOLD ME TO DO WAS DROP OUT -- drop out of my education, drop out of my denomination, drop out of my job -- go and sell all that I had and give to the poor -- forsake all and follow Him and go out not knowing whither I went or how I would live, either me or my little family! If I was willing to do all this by faith, He would begin giving me what I was asking for, and showing me what He wanted me to do!

I'LL NEVER FORGET WHEN I SAID THAT FINAL "YES" lying on the floor with my face wet with tears and stained with the dirt of that old plush carpet in which it was buried, in that old theatre building being used for Spirit-led meetings by a prophet of God, and He asked me if I would be willing to turn in my denominational credentials, -- my trade union card -- for the one skilled craft in which I had been thoroughly trained -- the church ministry! It was like throwing away your diploma and your ordination papers, your union card, your passport and your I.D.s, cutting yourself off from ever being able to go back into the same trade, leaving yourself totally unprepared and handicapped for any other kind of a job!

SO I SAID, O.K., LORD, I'LL DO IT RIGHT AWAY! I had begun my dropout from the System! Immediately I felt two strong hands upon my head, and one of the fine young prophets began to prophesy over me! -- And this was the Scripture passage which he prophesied:

"HE THAT HATH AN EAR, LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAITH UNTO THE CHURCHES. And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia (City of Brotherly Love) write: These things saith He that is holy, He that is true, He that hath the Key of David, He that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength and hast kept My Word, and hast not denied My Name."

"BEHOLD, I WILL MAKE THEM OF THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN, WHICH SAY THEY ARE JEWS, AND ARE NOT, BUT DO LIE; BEHOLD, I WILL MAKE THEM TO COME AND WORSHIP BEFORE THY FEET, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the Word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly; hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is New Jerusalem, which cometh down out of Heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." (Revelation 3:6-13)

"AND DAVID HEARD THY VOICE AND RESPONDED TO THY KEY." -- (Tongues and Interpretation)

I REALLY BROKE AND BOOHOOED THEN, FOR THIS WAS THE 3RD TIME THAT I HAD RECEIVED THIS EXACT SAME PROPHECY -- each time by someone who never had seen me before, and did not even know me -- so I knew it was God speaking! -- That somehow this passage was peculiarly for me personally, and that it was to be fulfilled in my own life in some way. At the time I thought it was a wonderful, fitting, and encouraging application of this Scripture for me personally, even though originally intended and written for others!

NOW I'M BEGINNING TO BELIEVE THAT IT HAD EVEN GREATER SIGNIFICANCE in its fulfillment in our present ministry with this Last Generation, particularly meaningful in its contraposition to the following prophecy to the Laodicean Church, a perfect picture of the Old Church of today, against whom God was prophesying -- the sickening, lukewarm church -- the System Church of this past generation that says that it is rich and increased with goods and has need of nothing! -- But does not even see or know that it is wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked spiritually in the eyes of God -- materially rich and powerful in the eyes of the System and her own eyes, but spiritually sickeningly sick, weak and dead and stripped in the eyes of the Lord, warned against being found naked and ashamed and blind, rebuked and chastised by the Lord in His infinite Love and mercy, lest they be spewed out upon the ground in the Lord's vomit!

WHAT A HORRIBLE PICTURE OF THE CHURCH OF TODAY, or yesterday, that is; for you, God's Children, are His New Church of today! You are the church of the City of Brotherly Love whose precious warnings the fat, ugly sickening church of Laodicea fails to heed, and therefore, is punished by the Lord!

IF THERE WAS EVER A MESSAGE TO THE CHURCH OF TODAY, AND A WITNESS AGAINST THEM, IT IS OURS: "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches!" By your very sample, you are a testimony against them -- a City of Brotherly Love -- dropped out and separated from the System, sanctified and purified and cleansed and made new -- not the Old Church-city of Laodicea, fat and sickening with its surfeiting and self-satisfaction, spiritual impoverishment and blindness, but a new City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, wherein dwelleth mercy and righteousness!

HE THAT IS HOLY AND TRUE HATH SPOKEN UNTO YOU, hath turned the Key of David, which has unleashed the frightful fury of the wrath of God's warning message against this decrepit and sickening older generation, through you! Hallelujah!

HE HAS OPENED US UP TO BLAST THE GOD-DAMNED, OR JUDGED, SYSTEMS OF THIS WORLD, and nobody's gonna shut us up but God! He knows our works and He's opened a great and effectual door before us -- the door of every major news media, until our warning voice has been heard 'round the world -- and nobody's been able to turn us off! Though we are very small and weak, we have at least obeyed and been faithful to Him! Those of the synagogue of Satan -- the false Worship System of today, whom we're blasting and exposing, with God's Truth, and who are trying to kill us for it, will one day soon be kneeling at our feet begging for our mercy to hide them from the wrath of God against their lies and false claims of being His Children! Then they'll know whom He really loves: Us, His true children! Because we have kept His Word in patience, He is also going to keep us in time of great trial and tribulation in these last days, and will protect, provide and keep us when all the rest of the world are suffering for their sins!

HE'S COMING SOON! HANG ON! DON'T LET SOMEONE ELSE GET YOUR REWARD! Be faithful to the End. If you will help to win the battle, you'll strengthen and help hold up others in the Temple of His Body -- the True Church! You'll serve Him forever, and He'll not be ashamed to give you His Name, nor for you to be called by His Name -- the Name that God has for you, and you'll be a citizen of God's marvelous new Space City, which is soon to appear -- and you'll have a new name -- the name that God has for you!

SO THE CHURCHES HAD BETTER LISTEN TO WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY BY HIS SPIRIT. Hallelujah! Thank You, Lord! May God have mercy upon them! You are their last chance, like the prophets of old! You are God's final warning to them before the day of their doom! You are the prophets of the End -- God's last warning voice to the world before His judgments begin to fall!

GOD USED THE KEY OF DAVID TO TURN YOU ON! Thank God David responded to his key! Hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus! He did it all! We are but His instruments! -- His workmanship and the work of His Hands! Praise God! Thank you, Jesus!

THESE THINGS SAITH THE AMEN, THE FAITHFUL AND TRUE WITNESS, THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF GOD! Are you ready for Him to turn your Key! Will you respond when He tries to turn you on..
